SOP for Casuals
- Dress
- Wear Loose cool tee-shirts and shorts
- Visible tops for safety (high vis not needed but don't wear dark colours)
- Bring a water bottle as it gets hot
- Light shoes. No heavy boots required.
- Shifts
- Standard shift (7.00 to 2.30) ($280/day)
- 1 x 30min lunch break (unpaid)
- 1x 15min tea break (paid)
- Split shifts (Higher Rate)
- Morning (6.00am to 1pm) ($280/day)
- 2 x 15 min break (paid)
- Afternoon (12pm to 7pm) ($280/day)
- 2 x 15 min break (paid)
- 2 x 15 min break (paid)
- Morning (6.00am to 1pm) ($280/day)
- Call the office to confirm you are coming (the day before) or if something has happened (Brian/Simon/James 9418 7035)
- Standard shift (7.00 to 2.30) ($280/day)

- Your Role
- The "Block Super Highway" is the most important thing in the business. Foam pieces get stuck or works in process tend to block the forklift and cause major safety risks. Management's top piority is safety.
- Clear all foam on the block super highway
- Move all work in progress / blocks.
- Operators will make X on blocks to be thrown
- and Put tape on do not throw
- Throw anything else
- Throw all waste cuts after the machine has finished cutting
- Empty rubbish in the floor space
- Move all water bottles and tools back to the Table work stations.
- You are empowered to tell management directly if anything blocks the BSH and no action is taken
- You are the captain of the pallet jack, use for any duty you see fit (movement of stock, orders etc.)
- Load and Unload Blocks.
- Assist Operators on both machines
- Use of Foam Steps to go up on the table of the machine.
- Clean all waste off
- Assemble / Glue work in progress
- Wrapping & Packing & Move Pallets of completed orders to staging area.

- At 9am when the office is open, go to Account Manager (Brian) to register your information and payment details.
- Once you finish your shift, inform the shift manager or/ account manager so we can note that you've completed your shift.

- Payment:
- Payment is made on the following Monday of the week you worked.
- Make sure your details are with the front office
- Reimbursements for costs must be submitted in writing to operations @ foamtechnologies.com.au to be accepted
